2c: Developing My Research Question

My refined and developed Research question:

Throughout the centuries, music has been created to support, individualize, inspire, and influence people's lives. But behind every played note of every written song, there is the psychological perspective of how different categories of music can affect the human's learning abilities and emotional behaviors and why only certain songs bring back particualr memories or feelings from their past.




Questions I came up with for my research paper:

WHAT...
-makes people enjoy different genres of music?
-gives us that feeling when we hear our favorite song?
-types of music affect people the most? (Triggering emotions, memories,etc)
-does the brain do to comprehend music?
-the process of the brain comprehending music?

WHY....
-do people react emotionally to a sad/happy song?
-do people enjoy music in general?
-do people like one type of music one day, and a completely different type the next?
-do people spend large amounts of money on music?
-do people pay money to see music be played live?

WHEN...
-is music the best time for people to be most receptive to music?
-is it better to play music to test the Mozart theory on babies? When they are sleeping or when they are awake?

WHERE...
-in the brain does music trigger our emotions and memories?
-does music come from?

WHO...
-is affected my music the most? Babies, children, teens, adults?
-who studies music psychology?
-who created the Mozart Theory?

HOW...
-are emotions, feelings, and memories created and remembered through music?
-do we know when music is triggering our brain/mind?
-does the Mozart Theory work exactly?

WOULD...
-people become interested in music pyschology if it were publicly discussed more often?

COULD...
-some people not be affected by music?
-people listen to only a bit of a song and know exactly what the song is or if it brings back memory or feeling?

SHOULD...
-music psychology be the only reasoning behind people's behavior? Such as road rage, depression, etc?
